Melbourne Federation Square is celebrating 16 years and during this time it's controversial asymmetric look became more and more accepted. About about 10 million people visit the square annually and it now one one of the most loved community spaces perfectly fitting into the city landscape. But now again its architectural integrity has appeared in the center of a heated debate - how justified would be to bring a new and commercial building into this environment? We invited Valery Sverdlin, who was as architect involved in the original Fed Square Project to share his thoughts
