Fedor Konyukhov's team has finished technical checks and preparations for the round-the-world trip.
SBS Radio is following the preparations and won't miss the culmination of the process, which is of course the launch. We have contacted Oscar Konyukhov who is based with the rest of the team in Northam where the trip will take off. A meteorologist at Bureau of Meteorology Australia Natalia Lindina gave a general overlook on climate in the region and expected weather forecast for the upcoming week.
