On the 100 anniversary since the birth of writer, dissident and a political figure Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the Russian service of Voice of America has published on the website a new documentary Alexander Solzhenitsyn – Memoirs of his Contemporaries. We asked Vadim Massalsky, the editor of the VOA Russian service to share his experience in making this documentary, and difficulties which he faced in finding records, since there is no big secret that Alexander Solzhenitsyn very rarely gave interviews and worse still, didn't really like journalists …
