Australia's Border Force has been issued with a "please explain" after allegedly allowing a self-confessed arms dealer to slip into the country unchecked. Despite an outstanding New South Wales subpoena for the Filipino ship captain over two deaths at sea, he continued to work in Australian waters. Senators say a gaping hole has been exposed in national security involving foreign flag-of-convenience ships.
