Great Lent is special time to look inside yourself

This year Great Lent started on March 11 and will go until April 27. It's the main fasting time for the Christian Orthodox people and one of the most challenging as it lasts for 48 days that stand for the 40 days Jesus spent in desert without any food and Holy week remembering his last days spent on earth before His death, burial, and resurrection. We speak with Father Alexander Paramonov who has a parish on the Gold Coast about some way to approach the Great Lent, especially of you are very new to this, as well as his plans to build a Russian Orthodox Church on the Gold Coast.
