At the beginning of this week authorities of the French port city of Calais went ahead with the planned demolition of the refugee camp known as the 'Jungle'. Over 6,000 asylum seekers, from mainly Africa and the Middle East, have been living in the temporary camp. Among them were around 1,300 unaccompanied children. During the clean-up operation the migrants were registered and transported by buses to other areas of France where they will be given the opportunity officially to apply for the refugee status. Our European correspondent Andrei Vaitovich was able to access the Jungle" during this process
