We caught up with Elik Melikov, the founder of Moscow Ballet La Classique right before the company departure to Australia. The tour kicks off this Friday in Perth and will perform Tchaikovsky's masterpiece Nutcracker in theatres all over Australia. Elik and his dancers love to show their productions in Australia, and enjoy the warm welcome. But the biggest applause, he says, always comes from the audience members who speak Russian.
