Israeli prime minister Benjamin has arrived in Sydney on the first visit by a sitting Israeli prime minister in the country's 70-year history. Before that, he was in Singapore and the United States and meet with President Donald Trump. He will hold talks with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and opposition politicians.The meetings are expected to cover trade between, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Israeli settlements in the West Bank. More than 60 prominent Australians, including former Labour politicians, senior legal professionals and clergy, have also signed a statement opposing Mr Netanyahu's visit because of his government's policies towards Palestinians.
