The program director of the Channel One in Russia Victoria Orlova was one of speakers at the recent Gold Coast conference marking 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Vicrotia's report was on the transformation of the US-Russia relations in the last 30 years, from a rapproachement to a meltdown. After the conference Ms Orlova came to SBS studio to share the highlights of her report and discuss the higher relevance attributed to the relationships between the two countries under the historical lense for the modern geopolitical agenda.
