The federal government says an overhaul of how G-S-T* revenue is carved-up, along with a permanent boost in funding out of the federal budget, will see states and territories receive billions of dollars of extra funds in coming years. The Treasurer insists no state or territory will be worse off under the new G-S-T distribution formula.
