When federal parliament resumes on Tuesday (Aug 30) the Government will be dealing with the largest senate crossbench in Australian history. The 14 newly elected faces in the Senate are in Canberra this week to learn how the upper house works before it's business as usual next week. And the power of the crossbench is likely to be tested very early on in the parliamentary peace.
