North and South Korean leaders meet in demilitarised zone - what next?

The leaders of North and South Korea held a summit in the Korean demilitarised zone as part of an effort to end decades of tension on the Korean Peninsula. Kim Jong-un's entry into the zone marks the first time a North Korean leader has crossed into the South since the signing of the Korean War armistice in 1953. We asked an expert on Korean affairs Dr. Leonid Petrov the Researcher of ANU College of Asia and the Pacific institute to outline the prospect of long and lasting peace on Korean Peninsula
