At the latest NATO summit in Brussels US president Donald Trump clashed with German chancellor Angela Merkel and called on the European leaders to raise their military spending. Before arriving to London he launched an extraordinary attack on Theresa May expressing his support for Boris Johnson, who quit his position because of disagreement with Ms. May's Brexit plan. But his next stop will be in Helsinki where he might have to find a tough opponent in Vladimir Putin. We asked Dr. Alexey Muraviev the Associate Professor of National Security and Strategic Studies at Curtin University in Perth to comment on Donald Trump's European aspirations
