For 117 days Fedor Konyukhov almost knew no problems with his boat, designed to resist the rough weather conditions and float or buoying towards the shore if the worst happens. On April 2 apprehensive news came from Fedor who was capsized and fighting through walls of waves. It soon was over, and he managed to catch the breath and carry on to his aim. We speak with Fedor's son, Oscar Konyukhov about the events of the previous day and what help Fedor can expect if at all.
