The United States shoots down a 'high-altitude object' flying over Alaska

The Pentagon have confirmed they've shot down a high-altitude object over Alaska. The object, which was reportedly the size of a small car, had been flying at just over 12,000 metres on the far northeastern side of Alaska near the Canadian border.
