Rachmaninov's Vespers in Melbourne with Aussie accent

The conductor Alan Cook and Melbourne Chamber Choir took up a serious challenge - they are to perform Sergei Rachmaninov's All Night Vigil which is often considered the pinnacle of Russian sacred music. We speak with the conductor about the efforts an Australian choir through into conveying the authenticity of this composition that occupies central part in Russian sacred music.
