The last day of February is marked as a Rare Disease Day. Started by European organisation EURORDIS, this year it is run for the 10th time. The Rare Disease Day slogan is 'With research, possibilities are limitless' underlining the importance of continuous research as this area of human health system remains murky and often simple questions remain unanswered. Larisa Borisenko is the patronage sister at the Russian Live Now, foundation and she says that one of the main problems is still lack of knowledge and awareness across the public and medical staff.
