Emmanuel Gruzman wants to complete his PhD study with the settlement experiences and adaptation of Jews from the former Soviet Union living in Melbourne. He asked us to help him to locate participants for his study and explained that people who migrated from the former Soviet Union will have to answer 15 questions for general background information and this will follow by approximately 1.5 hours interview , which can be conducted in English, Russian, Yiddish or Hebrew. As Emmanuel says, this information will help the researchers to understand the experiences and difficulties of people coming to Australia from totally different backgrounds, and find out any changes from the point of the Jewish identity
