Australians were helping Rimma in Kherson. She died one month before the reopening of the Australian embassy

Rimma Baranenko died in early December when a drone attacked the minibus she was in. Over the past two years, Australian activists have held several fundraisers and helped Rimma to support the homeless in Kherson and to run the animal shelter.
