Russian lawyer Ivan Pavlov has dedicated his career to defending people who are wrongly accused by security services of disclosing state secrets, high treason, and espionage. Today he was honoured in Sydney with the prestigious Human Rights Watch (HRW) Alison Des Forges Award for Extraordinary Activism . He spoke to SBS Russian about his efforts to free the innocent victims of the lawless society, the brainwashing Russian propaganda machine and the unavailability of the alternative media information to ordinary Russians.
