Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova lost to Ukrainian Katerina Bondarenko in the 2nd round 1/6, 5/7. Of course she couldn't hide her disappointment, especially after brilliantly crushing Daniela Hantuchová from Slovakia in the first round and winning the title of Sydney tournament earlier this months.
