Mathematical Kangaroo is an international mathematical competition with more than 50 countries that take an active part in it. The idea comes from the great Australian Mathematics Competition, initiated in 1978 by Peter O'Halloran, and is based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) - an original formula, unused in France at that time, at least for mathematics. But despite it's Australian roots, the contest Kangaroo managed to reach Australian shores only last year, in 2015.We are talking today with Andrey Kuzmin (Russian School of Western Australia (Perth), the initiator and curator of the contest Kangaroo in Australia.
