A year ago, two Russian families in Sydney decided to find an alternative to supermarkets and created a community “Sydney Health Coop” of joint purchases of healthy food. Over the year, their community has grown to about 600 members, who buy directly from food suppliers. One of the leaders of the group Stas Svamin says that his main task is also to educate customers on healthy eating. Stas talks to SBS Russian about his understanding of healthy diet.
