We congratulated Valerie Tereshchenko on winning the Telstra Ballet Dancer Award for 2017 and had a chat about love of ballet and not an easy path from a humble corps de ballet to the soloist of the Australia Ballet Company. Another wonderful news came after this interview was recorded - Valerie was promoted to the Senior dancer after Friday night's performance of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at Sydney Capitol Theatre.
