Still in its young age, 17 years, Federation Square has made a notch in the history of Melbourne. Opened 26 October 2002, in 2019 it was enlisted in the Heritage list. There are plenty of stories to tell, for example that the square is a ciphered encyclopedia with the secret messages hidden in its stones.
