More than two years ago, a full-scale war began in Ukraine. Since then, about 11 400 Ukrainians have arrived in Australia. Some of the families moved to regional Australia. We decided to travel to Orange and Molong and tell you the stories of three families for whom this place became their new home.

Interview with Yulia Gorlina, her husband and daughter, who had to move from Ukraine to Australia in 2022 on a tourist visa and here switched to a humanitarian visa.

They now live in Orange, 4 hours drive from Sydney.
Local residents helped them find work and furnished their home.

Little Mia goes to work with her mother. Yulia laughs that Mia already has her own uniform - a T-shirt with the inscription “Boss”.
