West accuses Russians of cyber attacks as four expelled

U.S. indicts seven Russian intel officers in alleged doping scandal hack

Western powers have accused Russia of orchestrating a string of global cyber attacks as the Netherlands expelled four men for allegedly trying to hack into the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Authorities say targets around the world have included anti-doping agencies, a United States nuclear company, Ukrainian transport systems and the 2016 US presidential race. Russia has continued to deny any such involvement, including the hacking in the Netherlands allegedly linked to the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal.
