Drug addiction among Australian youth is the reality for many families. In 2016 16% of Australians aged 14 or older used illicit drugs in the previous year. The new book by the award-winning author Irena Kobald ‘The Dream Peddler’ is based on her own experience. It is a tale for children and their parents about the dark side of the dreams. We spoke with Irena about her new book and why she believes that 7 years of age is not too early to start the conversation about drugs.
