The UK Home Secretary called the use of nerve-agent poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter "brazen and reckless" . The minister has confirmed again that a very rare toxic agent has been used for this purpose, however the nature of the poison isn't disclosed in the interests of the investigation. According to the latest news Skripal and his daughter are still in a critical condition, but the condition of the police officer who was one of the first at the scene in Salisbury has improved and is now stable. Despite categorical denials from the Russian authorities, investigators in Great Britain are searching for the Russian involvement. We asked Dr Alexey Muraviev the Associate Professor of National Security and Strategic Studies at Curtin University in Perth, WA, to comment on the incident in Great Britain.
