Nationals leader and Deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce is the latest in a string of federal politicians caught up in the dual citizenship net. A member of the New Zealand Labour Party asked a question in Wellington as to whether or not someone whose father is a New Zealand citizen automatically becomes a citizen of Aotearoa. It turns out that despite being born in Tamworth, NSW, Barnaby Joyce is indeed a Kiwi.
