Penny (not her real name) has been a sex worker in Adelaide for 5 years. Every time she works, she runs the risk of being arrested because sex work (prostitution) is illegal in South Australia. But that could all change when a a Bill is introduced to the South Australian parliament this week calling for sex work to be decriminalised in the state. If it passes, South Australia will join New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory and the ACT in regulating sex work.
