The all-clear was given to the crew and passengers of MV Albatross to visit Apia after a team of healthcare professionals from the Health Ministry in Samoa visited Tahiti, the last port Albatross visited before sailing to Samoa, and carried out tests to ensure no one on board was infected by coronavirus.

While the government of Samoa is enforcing stringent protection measures against the coronavirus, earlier this week a German cruise liner has docked in Apia.
