Finals fever in AFL and the NRL

North Queensland Cowboys are through to the preliminary final against Cronulla after a thrilling game against the Broncos that went to extra time. Then Canberra Raiders overcame a spirited Penrith team full of promising youngsters to set up the other preliminary final against Melbourne. In the AFL, the Sydney Swans were too good for Adelaide. They will meet Geelong in one semifinal and Greater Western Sydney will play the Western Bulldogs in the other semifinal.
