The federal government has launched a $5.5million campaign to boost the immunisation of children in Australia. The campaign is supported by Chief Medical Officer, Professor Brendan Murphy, who says 'there is no evidence at all that vaccination causes autism' and that some people in the community are peddling false information about immunisation to create fear. 93% of Australian 5 year-olds were fully immunised in 2015-2016 but the Health Minister Mr Greg Hunt wants that number to be 100%.
