A class action has been filed with the European Court of Human Rights against the government of Russia and its president Vladimir Putin over the MH17 crash.
The action is lead by American lawyer Jerry Skinner who won compensation from Lybia for the families of those killed in the Pan Am flight that blew up over Lockerbie in 1988.
