Multi-faith groups critical of Freedom of Religion Bill

Faith groups have banded together to criticise the federal government's proposed Religious Freedom Bill.


The thrust of the criticism is the argument that it will allow Churches and religious organizations to withhold needed services from people who do not belong or share their beliefs. Bronwyn Pike of the Uniting Church says it can be critical when someone is denied medical services on the basis of their non-beliefs.
