The prime minister Malcolm Turnbull is urging AGL to keep operating its coal-fired power station at Liddell beyond 2022. It's a move that is supported by Liberal's Coalition partner, the National Party, but strongly criticised by the Opposition and others concerned about Australia achieving its Clean Energy Target.
