A woman has died and 19 others injured when 20 year-old James Alex Fields Junior allegedly drove his car into a crowd of counter-protesters in Charlottesville Virginia. The counter-protest was against a white supremacist group protesting the removal of the statue of a Confederate general in the city. US officials have opened a civil rights investigation into the car attack.
