After five years, $500 million and 444 public sitting days, the Royal Commission Into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse has handed down its final report.


In its final report, the Royal Commission Into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse has made 189 recommendations, including the creation of a National Office for Child Safety, and introducing the criminal offence of 'failing to report' if someone does not disclose known or suspected abuse of a child.
