"VICE, as an organisation, is producing documentaries, news and culture-focused programs for our youth audiences, and these are linguistically and culturally diverse programs from around the world with a really distinct purpose. Our two charters for the two organisations are very much aligned, and we see them as a great fit which will help bring young Australians more insights into global issues. And also, financially, I think it will be beneficial for SBS as well, because it enables us to secure an entire catalogue of programs for TV and online, rather than dealing with individual distributors and content suppliers from around the world."
