Patriarchal cultures and literal interpretations of certain verses from the Bible and Koran are some of the forces used by some men to justify violence towards women in some Pacific societies. World Vision is working with faith leaders in the Asia Pacific region to counter these beliefs and eliminate domestic violence. We spoke to the newly appointed CEO of World Vision Australia, Claire Rogers.
