This is the first part of new series on the Samoan program at SBS Radio and Online.

The series is called 'Talanoa' which is the Samoan word for conversation and it gives the opportunity to anyone with an interesting story or experience to tell our audience. We would prefer to 'talanoa' in Samoan, but we also welcome stories in English.

Our guest this week is Ms Olitta Tuiloma, a Samoan woman now residing in Melbourne. Olitta is a pianist and composer. She has vision impairment and she tells us about her musical learning and everyday life, living independently with a disability.

Olitta Tuiloma was born in New Zealand, and she speaks fluent Samoan.
