The consumer group CHOICE is calling for clearer labels on the amount of sugar in food. Research shows Australians are consuming an average of 60 grams of sugar a day. Some teenagers consume more than double that. Some breakfast cereals have been found to contain almost 3 teaspoons of hidden sugar.
