Australia's campaign at the football World Cup is over. A two-nil defeat to Peru, coupled with Denmark's draw with Group leader France sealed their fate. It means the Socceroos finish bottom of their group, going home after the group stage for the third consecutive World Cup.


All four teams from group D were still eligible to qualify for the last 16 as they went into the last run of group games at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. With Nigeria-Argentina and Iceland-Croatia kicking off at the same time, fans needed eyes and ears on both matches as the drama unfolded.
