Prof. Dr. Ivan Dimitrijevic is a member of the Serbian expert commission for the prevention of abuse of alcoholism and alcoholics. For SBS Serbian he is talking about alcoholism and the toll it takes on the addicts but also their families and the community in large.
Neuropsychiatrist Dr. Ivan Dimitrijevic is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, the head of the Department for Specialist Psychiatric Education and the head of the Dependency Department of the Clinic for Psychiatry at the Clinical Center of Serbia.
He is also the president of a special working group in the Serbian Ministry of of Serbia for the education of doctors and healthcare workers (diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of addiction diseases).
Dr. Dimitrijevica is a scholar of the Greek government, UNESCO and the EU, and was trained professionally in Greece, Netherlands and United States.
