There are a lot of modern problems we can blame on social media, but ruining the English language isn't one of them. New messaging platforms are bringing with them new ways of communication, and though some may be complaining, linguistics say the changes don't pose any threats. Language has been changing for as long as humans have been communicating. Sofija Petrović spoke with linguistics Dr. Nick Wilson from Macquarie University, as well as Dr. Branimir Stanković from the Faculty of Philosophy, at the University of Niš.
