Australia 'sees merit' in China's new Silk Road

One Belt One Road international conference will start tonight in Beijing. Federal Trade Minister Steve Ciobo will also attended the conference. Australia is yet to sign up for the initiative unlike New Zealand and 67 other nations. Foreign Minister Julie Bishop is headed to New York to launch Australia's inaugural candidacy for a seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council. Health funds made post-tax profits of $1.3 billion in the year to April 1, an annual increase of 18 per cent.
