International Festival of Ethnological Film 2017 in Belgrade is organised in collaboration with Australian Embassy in Belgrade. Selection of Australian Films is screened at the festival (Swinburne University of Technology and Barkly Arts). Deputy Head of Australian Mission in Belgrade Glenn Morrison was on deck to open the festival and an exhibition of Aboriginal art at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade titled The Canning Stock Route.

Besides documentaries showing in the competition, the festival is presenting short student movies in the special program in collaboration with Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology and Barkly Arts.

Porogram is titled Australian Screen Intersections .
