Nearly 30,000 Australians are still stranded in countries across the world, waiting to come home.

Over 27,000 Australian citizens are stuck in countries around the world, a portion of them waiting for a flight out of Serbia's capital Belgrade. Without a source of income and dwindling savings, financial and psychological stress is starting to take hold.


Tijana Petrović, a Sydney local, has been waiting to come home since March this year. After multiple cancellations, her next flight is booked on the 26th of October, however, Tijana fears if she doesn't get let on, she might not be home until next year.
