About this mineral and its characteristics Aleksandar Zivkovic spoke with Dr. Velibor Todorović.
Chrome is an essential microelement. The average adult human body contains 0.4 to 0.6 milligrams (mg) of chromium, while the elderly have a smaller amount of this microelement. The amount of chromium in the organism depends on the environment in which the person lives. Many studies have shown that the number of patients with diabetes and heart disease is lower in the environments where larger intake of chromium is added.
